Important: $CPT tokens are utility tokens, not securities or investment products. By connecting your wallet you agree to these Terms in their entirety. Do not participate with funds you cannot afford to lose.
The Microsoft Copilot $CPT Token Rewards Program (the "Program") is operated by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA. The Program allows eligible Copilot users to earn Compute Power Tokens ("$CPT") based on their usage of the Service.
By connecting a digital wallet or otherwise accessing the Program, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not participate in the Program.
To participate you must: (i) be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction; (ii) hold an active Microsoft account with Copilot access; (iii) reside in a jurisdiction where participation is legally permissible; (iv) have a compatible EVM wallet; and (v) not have previously had Program access revoked for cause.
Microsoft reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and deny access at its sole discretion.
Participation requires a compatible digital wallet. Currently supported: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect-compatible wallets. You are solely responsible for your wallet's security, including private keys and seed phrases. Microsoft has no ability to recover lost wallets or reverse blockchain transactions.
Each Microsoft account may connect a maximum of one (1) wallet at any time. Sharing wallet credentials with third parties is prohibited. Any activity through your connected wallet is attributed to you.
Earning: $CPT is distributed based on an automated compute scoring system evaluating each prompt on: reasoning depth, data volume, compute intensity, and output quality. Four reward tiers apply: Basic (0.10–1.00 CPT), Standard (1.00–5.00 CPT), Advanced (5.00–15.00 CPT), and Expert (15.00–50.00+ CPT).
Early Access Multiplier: Wallets connected during the 24-hour Early Access Window receive a 2× multiplier on all earned tokens for the first 30 calendar days. This benefit is non-transferable and one-time only.
Distribution: Tokens are distributed approximately every 24 hours, subject to network conditions. A minimum accrued balance of 1.00 CPT is required before distribution is processed.
Taxes: You are solely responsible for determining any tax obligations arising from receipt of $CPT tokens in your jurisdiction.
$CPT is a utility token only. It is not a security, commodity, investment contract, currency, or financial product of any kind. Microsoft does not represent that $CPT will have monetary value or that any secondary market will develop. Do not acquire CPT for investment or speculative purposes.
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of earned tokens:
Microsoft may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time. It may also adjust Reward Tiers, scoring algorithms, and eligibility requirements. Material changes will be communicated via the Program website and/or email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of amended Terms.
Upon Program termination, Microsoft will use commercially reasonable efforts to distribute unprocessed rewards within 30 days, except in the case of termination for cause.
THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Microsoft does not warrant uninterrupted operation, defect-free systems, or guaranteed token delivery schedules.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MICROSOFT'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $100 USD. Microsoft is not liable for: wallet compromise, network failures, third-party wallet errors, regulatory actions, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Microsoft and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (i) your violation of these Terms; (ii) your use of the Program; (iii) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights; or (iv) any misrepresentation made in connection with your participation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration under JAMS rules on an individual basis. Class action participation is waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with Microsoft's Privacy Policy and Copilot Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Program. If any provision is held unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect. Microsoft's failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Microsoft's written consent.
